The company was started in 1991 on part-time basis but soon began full time operation. The owners are John C. and John E. Nelson. John E. started helping out his dad on a part time basis when he was very young and now, 17 years later, he is a partner in the company.
John C. (Sr.) performs most of the administrative, day to day operations, as well as sales. John E. (Jr.) is responsible for all the installantions and actually works with his crew on all the jobs.
We have one person in outside sales besides John Sr. Cody Marwitz was an installer for us for about five years before asking to be a part of sales. After a period of training with John Sr., he now has the ability to take care of all your needs. On many jobs, you will meet with Cody and John Sr. as they continue to work together on more complicated jobs.
One major difference in our company that makes us stand out above the rest: We never take proposals or contracts with us on our initial visits so you can rest assured that you are not going to experience any hard sales pressure from us. If you tell us in advance that you want to "buy today", we will bring a contract with us-- but remember, it will only happen upon YOUR request.
Another difference: We have our own full time, permanenet crew. We never contract out our work or use contract employees. It is surprising how few companies in this area work this way. We feel it gives continuity and complete control over the work performed. Ask the sales people from competing businesses to name the actual people who will be working on your job; you will find that in most cases, they can't.
